There was a boy
and My, what a boy was he!
Advices he gave away for free!
His friendships ended up in a mess
The reasons for which he could not guess
He knew not, I guess,
the saying old--
'Advices, my friend, are hated most by men!'
People of wisdom have have told thus time and again
Their effort , to me, seems to be in vain
For their advice we never did heed
(for reasons obvious indeed) ;)
Advices my friend are hated most by men!

Ways of Life
Ways of Life
Life’s ways
The Sceptre of fate
The way it sways……….
Keeps us dumbfounded,
Reveals not, where to, we are bounded
Ways of Life
Life’s ways
Tells us so much
Yet leaves so much unsaid
The Sceptre of fate
The way it sways
Makes us believe we know everything
And shows us we know nothing
Ways of Life
Life’s ways
The Sceptre of fate
The way it sways……….
Is it what makes me believe in You
Is it what makes me run to You
In fear, in awe
In helplessness, in tears
In joy and happiness I know You not
Is it what You are then
A creation of mind, a mind full of fears
The Sceptre of fate
The way it sways……….
Keeps us dumbfounded,
Reveals not, where to, we are bounded
Ways of Life
Life’s ways
Tells us so much
Yet leaves so much unsaid
The Sceptre of fate
The way it sways
Makes us believe we know everything
And shows us we know nothing
Ways of Life
Life’s ways
The Sceptre of fate
The way it sways……….
Is it what makes me believe in You
Is it what makes me run to You
In fear, in awe
In helplessness, in tears
In joy and happiness I know You not
Is it what You are then
A creation of mind, a mind full of fears

Stars of the Sky
Stars of the Sky
Look so near
But each step says
One more step dear!
Stars of the sky
Look so dear
But ever given a thought
How they look from near----
Heat,dust
Nebulous smoke
Everything to
Make us choke
Stars of the sky
Look so near
But each step says
One more step dear!
Step by step
I have walked a mile too long
Everything looks so dear
from here----
-the stars,
the things that ,
to me, until now were near!

Lost!
She walked around lost
The city seemed to have forgotten her
Or was it she who had forgotten her way
It was not clear
She was sad, her eyes lifeless
They reminded one of the time
She had been happy
Around men
Now she walked alone
In the forest—dead and
Gone, No animals to keep her company
The men had taken them all
Far away in the city
The men had lost it all—
Their minds I mean;
They lived or rather
Walked around doing their
Things
No time to share a thing
Let alone joy
They laughed a lot- not that they had forgotten how to
But it was more a laughter
Of mirth than merry
Proving each other how happy they were
Trying hard to forget
Let alone let others know
How unhappy they were
Deep down there—the heart-
Once a hearth of warmth
Now lay cold—not a piece of wood or pinch of ash
to be seen
--No, the fires had burnt long back-Everybody
had forgotten when
In their minds some cursed
Themselves
For having shunned her—yes
She knew how to make them
Happy-she could light
their hearths again
But alas, where was one to find her now
Had they shunned
Or had she left, no one to turn to, no one to save her
Lost in theirselves
Everybody had forgotten her-
Alas for too long- for now she had left……
Never to return again
The city seemed to have forgotten her
Or was it she who had forgotten her way
It was not clear
She was sad, her eyes lifeless
They reminded one of the time
She had been happy
Around men
Now she walked alone
In the forest—dead and
